Expert advice and garden consulting in a private villa in Saint Jean Cap Ferrat
Executive design and garden consulting in a beach front villa in Saint Jean Cap Ferrat
Mediterranean elegance
Design Completed (July 2012)
Consulting ( August 2012 / present)
The garden of this beautiful villa is an example of design, creation and years of consulting. After the design process and the executive phase we have been taking care and managing this garden for two years.
The garden faces the sea and is situated on a cliff approximately 5 meters above the sea level. The villa’s park, as we use to call it since considering its size (almost an hectare), includes both a pine forest and a olive tree grove.
The project and the intervention have been complex. The existing buildings, tennis court and golf court have been erased leaving room for a Mediterranean garden including plenty of new trees such as olive trees, pines, carob trees, palms, tamarisks and a variegated bush layer.
As a general rule we have implemented the permeable areas reducing the water runoff and limiting the impermeable areas. New lawn zones have been introduced with multiple pathways in a Japanese style with white stone steps. We have designed and created new terraces with retaining stone walls obtaining new belvedere views covered by some wooden pergola.
Once the garden was completed we have been managing it for 2 years with fortnightly consultancy meetings. All the problems, plant illnesses and blossoming variations have been identified reported (with photographic reports) and solved.
