A small terraced space for a 7 holes mini golf
Design finished (March 2013)
Construction currently in progress (November 2013)
The villa has a terraced garden with a multi-level pool. The main house sits at the top with a dominant view of the whole property and the tennis court.
In a shaded corner, on the northern side of the area, right under the long branches of a huge magnolia grandiflora, the clients wishes to create a small mini golf.
The area is very steep mostly covered by lawn grass (Festuca rubra) and a few bushes (Pittosporub tobira and Chamaerops humilis).
The project will have to fit in the small area provided placing the 7 holes of the mini golf.
The basic concept of the project is the creation of ‘’rooms’’ with the shrubs to define the spacing of an harmonic path following the morphology of the site.
The plants chosen to vegetate this project are mostly:
Hydrangea macrophylla, Hydrangea paniculata, Camellia grandiflora, Camellia sasanqua, Bergenia crassiflora, Gardenia grandiflora, Pittosporum tobira “nanum”, Pittosporum tobira, Chamaerops humilis, Trachycarpus fortuneii, Myrtus communis.
